The Role

Tollanis Solutions Technical Delivery teams are currently running numerous change projects globally to support the rapid growth of the company and we’re seeking an experienced Syspro Support Engineer to work with our clients globally to develop and deploy business-critical solutions. The right candidate has empathy, curiosity and desire to improve and constantly learn; has deep technical experience in all the capabilities and functionalities of Syspro. Provide support and contribute to Syspro projects, existing implementations, new implementations, upgrades and migrations for multiple clients in multiple industries. Therole will require active involvement in supporting our Syspro clients, projects & roll-outs with the ability to contribute solutions to business needs and the ability to train others and offer advice on best practice in the use of Syspro systems. The position involves performing system integration, system testing, and troubleshooting activities associated with the Syspro products and/or services.

Responsibilities

  • Installation & Upgrades of Syspro Systems
  • Installation of third party software and integration with Syspro
  • Installation of SQL Server
  • Installation and validation of Syspro system updates
  • Installation of Syspro vendor provided fix programs
  • Configuration and Maintenance of Automated email Notifications (SQL)
  • Installation of Reporting systems including SSRS and SharePoint
  • System Troubleshooting and Diagnostics
  • Performance Tuning
  • Automated email notifications setup and implementation
  • SQL Jobs implementation and monitoring
  • General end user support for Syspro system
  • Establish database and application configurations, standards, guidelines and quality assurance for systems development deliverables such as conceptual design, usability, and external data interface requirements, data loading, maintenance plans, and security policy.
  • Prepare technical reports, simulations, and instructional manuals to document systems development to meet best business practices or customer specific customization requirements.
  • Support end users in all business functions, in the use of Syspro applications.
  • Work across multiple projects and support day to day work.
  • Work with client team member(s) to analyze current operational procedures to document current business practices and specific business requirements.
    • Identify opportunities for improvement
    • Adopt best business practices
  • Creation of a detailed functional design document to capture the business requirements and review with the technical resources to create an estimated time to develop.
  • Create quality, comprehensive, timely customer centric documentation.
  • Work with the development team to test, validate and document enhancements.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with functional users and IT staff to find solutions to problems identified in testing, resolve issues during systems upgrades, ensure that requirements documentation is easily translated into UAT (user acceptance training)/functional test plans, and ensure that proper testing of all systems functionality is completed.
  • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify in detail business processes supported by enterprise systems.

 

What We Are Looking For

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and operate in a fast-paced environment, independently identifying priority items for customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with Syspro systems
  • Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS
  • Microsoft Windows OS
  • Microsoft Server Administration Skills
  • SAP Crystal Reports
  • Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio and Project
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, with a minimum of two years’ experience in related field.
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Syspro Certification would be a value add

 

What We Offer

  • Guaranteed minimum 40hrs per week
