We are looking for an analytical, results-driven Back-end Developer who will work with team members to build and improve current back-end applications and processes. The Back-end Developer will use his or her understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current code and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for the users. You should have excellent communication, time management and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and monitoring.
• Write clean, maintainable code to develop functional Web applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Perform UI tests to optimize performance.
• Learn and apply cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications.
• Perform and participate in code reviews, architecture design and technical research.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Liaise with developers, designers, and system administrators to identify new features.
• Follow emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience with the AWS cloud.
• Experience with cloud-native development using Amazon EKS.
• In-depth understanding of the entire Web development process (design, development, and deployment).
• Strong experience with one or more of the following languages: Node.js, Python; with in-depth knowledge of REST APIs and serverless functions.
• Experience with Git (GitHub, GitLab, etc.) and IaC (Infrastructure as Code).
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript and CSS).
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
